The Workforce Hub is a single, co-ordinated point of access for primary care workforce development across Te Tai Tokerau and Tāmaki Makaurau. We work for and on behalf of all the PHOs in the northern region.
Whether you're a practice working through hosting a placement, or a clinical team member looking for the right development opportunity, we're here to make the process clear and easy.
Funding for workforce initiatives can be a lot to navigate, and it shouldn't fall on practices and trainees to untangle it.
So we do that part. We co-ordinate placements, simplify funding, from a reimbursement for an online course to payment for a complex placement.
We think fewer hurdles for practices means the right people getting the right development to meet the needs of the community.
Better support means more people choosing primary care for the long haul, and better regional data means investment goes where it's needed most.
